📏 Head Size & Position
Your head must face the camera directly with a neutral facial expression. In most biometric requirements (like US Passport or Schengen Visa), your head must occupy between 50% and 70% of the overall vertical photo size. Use our dashed oval guidelines to align the top of your hair, eyes, and chin correctly.
🎨 Background Specs
The background must be plain, smooth, and free of shadows. White or off-white is mandatory for US, European Schengen, and Cambodian passports. Light blue is commonly used for school or work badges, while royal blue is standard for some civil services. Pick the correct background color before saving.
