Windows 10 / Windows 11 Official Installers
Windows 10/11 includes built-in Khmer language support under Settings > Time & Language > Add a language > Khmer. You can also download the official standalone NiDA installer setup package:
macOS (Apple Mac Computer) Setup & Installer
For macOS, you can enable built-in Khmer keyboard support under System Settings > Keyboard > Text Input > Edit... > Add (+) > Khmer - QWERTY, or download the official Khmer Unicode Mac software package below:

How to Install Downloaded Khmer Fonts (Windows PC & macOS)
Windows 10 & Windows 11 Font Installation
- Download your chosen font zip file from Google Fonts or Box.
- Extract the downloaded
.zipfile to reveal the.ttfor.otffont files. - Select all font files, Right-Click, and select Install for all users (or Install).
- Alternatively: Drag & drop the font files into
C:\Windows\Fontsor Settings > Personalization > Fonts. - Restart Microsoft Word, Excel, or Photoshop to start using your new Khmer font!
macOS (Apple Mac) Font Installation
- Download and unzip the font package file on your Mac.
- Double-click the
.ttfor.otffont file. - Click Install Font in the Font Book preview window that appears.
- Alternatively: Open Font Book app (Cmd + Space > Font Book) and drag the font files directly into My Fonts or All Fonts.
- Your new Khmer fonts are now available across Pages, Keynote, Photoshop, and Chrome.
